It's been awhile!!

I have officially diagnosed myself as a Bipolar Blogger. I am either blogging consistently or not at all and as you can see I have been in a "not at all" phase lately. So I am back and I will work hard to stay more consistent! ;)

What we've been up to lately....

Collin's B-day party, Wendy delivered baby Graham, Rotavirus, Stacie's Sprinkle, Thanksgiving, putting up the Christmas tree and decorations, and the boys are 20 months old!

Here are some cute pics from Collin's B-day party back on Nov. 7th at the Dallas Flight Museum.

Wendy delivered sweet baby Graham on November 16th!

Rotavirus attacks our household!!

Saturday 11/21 - Connor starts puking that morning (same morning of Stacie's Sprinkle of course!)

Sunday 11/22 - My Dad aka Papa starts puking that evening

Monday 11/23 - Deborah aka Gigi starts getting sick early afternoon, then I start puking that evening and Jason comes home from work sick too!

Tuesday 11/24 my mom aka Memaw also gets it

It was horrible!!! The boys were sick a total of about 9 days, my parents about 7 days, Jason and I 2 days, and my mom 2 days. Did I mention that it was HORRIBLE!!!

We had a sprinkle for my dear sweet friend Stacie that is due in December. We "sprinkled" her with gifts rather than "shower" her for Baby #2. It was so much fun! I had a hard time not worrying about my lil' guy sick at home. He was in good hands with my parents.

Thanksgiving was supposed to be spent in Arkansas with family but with everyone sick we decided to stay home and have our own Thanksgiving. It was just the boys, me, Jason, and my mom. We had turkey, ham, and all the fixin's! Despite all the craziness we had a great time.

Then on Saturday we put up our BIG 9ft. tree and decorations around the house. The boys had a great time pulling the ornaments off the tree and wearing their Santa hats around the house. We also rearranged the house a little. We moved the couch out of the playroom and into our bedroom. Sounds weird I know but our bedroom is big enough that it looks really cute. It's like we have our own little apt./home in our bedroom and it give the boys more room in the playroom.

My sweet baby boys are now 20 months (12/1)! They are becoming such big boys and really smart ones at that. (moms can say that, right?) ;)

HALLOWEEN!!

This is our 2nd year to spend Halloween with The Quenzer's. Connor was dressed as a Fisherman and Carter a Hunter! We had an AWESOME time this year!! Last year was a little stressful with two 6 month old. But this year they had a great time playing with friends, eating fajitas, and candy! Connor once again found himself a little girlfriend! ;) The boys didn't go to bed until 10pm!!

They did great trick-or-treating! Carter loved Wendy's neighbor dressed up as an Alien but Connor got his candy and backed up slowly. :) Their neighborhood really goes all out with decorations, haunted house, and a chainsaw guy that Connor was not a big fan of. He only did the chainsaw for us because we asked him to. He didn't do it when we first walked up because he saw we had a group of little ones. Fun!! Here are the best pics that I could get!

Carving Pumpkins/Breathing Treatments/Outside

We carved our pumpkins Thursday night. The boys liked using the spoons the most. It was a great big fun mess and then they were bored in no time! We have found pumpkin seeds in the strangest places over the past couple of days.

We had round 2 of sickness here at our house last week. We took pics of the boys getting breathing treatments. they did ok They both still have a cough but are getting much better! :)

New Words:
Connor - sun, fix it,
Carter - moon, fix it, Elmo

Saying, "CHEESE" for the camera! :)

The Pumpkin Patch

We took the boys to the Pumpkin Patch this past Saturday. They loved the animals!! Carter would stick his hand into the fence and pet any animal without fear. Connor is a little more cautious. He has to check things out before he puts his hands anywhere. This year was so much fun because they were able to run around and play rather than be carried around everywhere like last year. We had a great time!!

Connor found himself a girlfriend! ;)

State Fair!!

The boys had a GREAT time at the State Fair! They loved getting to see the animals, watch the rides, and eat all the yummy food.

Their menu consisted of getting to taste a little of everything!
funnel cake-Connor's fav
fletcher's corn dog - Carter's fav
cherry icee
mini cheeseburger
french fries
fried pickles

I was shocked they didn't throw up from eating all that junk! Oh well it's not like they eat like that all the time! You have to have a little fun at the fair!

Ok, after downloading these pictures I quickly realized we did an AWFUL job taking pictures that day. There is no family pic! :( We totally slacked on the picture taking that day! Sorry! Enjoy the pics we did get.

We are headed to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend! Stay tuned for much better pictures. ;) Oh, totally forgot to mention these little toots are sick again!! They have been sick twice in the past 2 weeks and they gave it to me! Jason is the only non-sickie around here! Pray for a healthy household!

Our attempt at a picture of the boys w/ Big Tex! ugh
